The previous WebApplications lecture was the last one I held and helped to organize. All in all I am quite happy with the result. I have a feeling that the lecture is in very good hands for the future and that students keep being interested in web technologies. Also, since the web is (fast) moving target, I think that the direction of the lecture has been chosen wisely in the past. Therefore many of the technologies that are presented are now widely available or on a good way.
The final projects showcased a variety of possibilities. From HTML to TeX generators, to personal homepages to lots of games and tools - everything's in there. After all these years I am still amazed how many different and well-executed projects can emerge after a week of lecturing to students, who start with practically no JavaScript at all and mostly not much programming experience.
As usual the projects have been uploaded to this website. Therefore they are accessible world-wide. If you want to remove or update your code, then feel free to contact me any time. I do not take ownership for any of the code. The intellectual property has not moved. I also did not remove bugs. This emphasizes that everything that is uploaded, is in its pure and unmodified form.
Finally I want to thank everyone who helped me in the recent years maintaining this lecture. Establishing the foundation for awareness and interest in the web is fundamental. This would not have been possible without the teaching assistants, clerks and the help from the administration. I'd also like to express my gratitude towards all the students, who asked questions, spotted issues or suggested improvements.
